It’s Carnival’s eve in Vila Madalena. Jonas makes his living on small gigs and is Branca's maid son. Against all odds, they have to make a decision: Jonas between his love plans and the threats to his family; and Branca between her future – with Jonas? – and her known life, from which, early on, she was trying to escape.
